Micropollution in the environment

RESEARCH TEAM

prof. Sylwia Myszograj
prof. Izabela Krupińska
Ewelina Płuciennik-Koropczuk, Ph.D.

FIELDS OF RESEARCH
1. Degradation of the surface of microplastics deposited in coastal zones of coastal areas in Poland - doctoral dissertation, PhD student: Kamil Majewski, supervisor: prof. Sylwia Myszograj, assistant supervisor: Ewelina Płuciennik-Koropczuk, Ph.D.

2.Effect of organic matter fractions on iron removal during treatment of water intended for human consumption. The aim of the research is to elucidate the mechanisms of iron removal forming colloidal and water-soluble forms of organoferrous connections, to determine the factors affecting the effectiveness of their removal, as well as to optimize the unit processes used for this purpose.

3.Removal of micropollutants from the PPCPs group in technological processes of wastewater treatment.
