FIELDS OF RESEARCH

Research is being carried out in the area of:

• heat storage in the ground and research on the identification of factors determining the efficiency of thermal energy use will continue in the "Green Energy" Laboratory.
• solar chimney using new PCM materials will allow educational and demonstrative illustration of the physical process taking place.
  heat storage using phase transformations in different geometric systems of PCMs will be conducted in the Center for Sustainable Construction.
• the influence of the thermal resistance of the contact layer in the solidification of liquids.
• heat storage in building partitions made of different building materials and including PCM materials will be conducted in the laboratory rooms of the Center for Sustainable Construction and Energy in the Science and Technology Park of the University of Zielona Góra.
• measurements of temperature, humidity, air pollution and lighting in public buildings.

ONGOING RESEARCH AND RESEARCH AND IMPLEMENTATION PROJECTS

Project entitled. "Modern methods of energy storage in the Spree-Nyssa-Beaver Region". Under the INTERREG VA Brandenburg-Poland Cooperation Program 2014-2020, the project partner is the University of Zielona Gora. The project leader is Centrum für Energietechnologie Brandenburg e.V.
1. project INTERREG VA BB PL 2014-2020 / didactic project "Modern methods of energy storage in the Spree-Neisse-Beaver region". (implementation period January 2021 - April 2023). Prof. Tadeusz Kuczynski, Ph.D. - expert.
2. NCBiR project / Research project entitled. "Use of UV C technology to reduce the transmission of SARS CoV 2 virus and reduce transmission of infections in hospitals (implementation period February 2021 - June 2022). Prof. dr hab. inż. Tadeusz Kuczynski - scientific researcher.
