During his stay, he also visited a field experiment established under the supervision of Prof. Zafarjon Jabbarov located on the dry bed of the Aral Sea. The visit aimed to explore opportunities for future international research projects focused on environmental protection, particularly in degraded areas affected by anthropogenic activity. As part of the programme, a meeting was also held with university authorities, represented by the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Prof. Raima Shirinova. During the meeting, opportunities for academic staff and student mobility were discussed, as well as the possibility of research internships and joint innovative research projects within the Erasmus+ framework. The discussions emphasised the strengthening of long-term cooperation and the expansion of academic exchange between the institutions. At the end of the meeting, the Erasmus+ inter-institutional agreement was signed, confirming their readiness for continued collaboration.
