The discussions emphasised the importance of the issues raised in the presentations and the complexity of engineering problems and environmental design.
The conference confirmed that international cooperation is becoming increasingly important, particularly with regard to:
- the integration of digital technologies (AI, GIS and BIM);
- the development of the circular and bioeconomies;
- supporting soil and water remediation using innovative materials;
- implementing green infrastructure and climate-resilient projects.
The conference included paper and poster sessions. Students from the Institute of Environmental Engineering played an active and passive role in the conference, presenting achievements developed during their work in research clubs in the poster session.
