The laboratory conducts technological research and performs analyses of samples of underground and surface water, sewage, waste, sludge as well as soil and groundwater.
A highly qualified team of analysts, modern laboratory equipment, specialised research apparatus, participation in inter-laboratory proficiency tests, the use of certified materials and high-quality chemical reagents, and a continuous system of internal and external quality control of processes guarantee the high quality of the services provided. We offer competitive prices and short lead times. The laboratory has the capacity to adapt to individual customer needs.

Drinking water

We offer to do the analyses of water for drinking, in the scope compliant with the Regulation Minister of Health of 7 December 2017 on the quality of water intended for human consumption (Journal of Laws 2017, item 2294). The system implemented at the Laboratory was approved by the State District Sanitary Inspectorate in Zielona Góra.

Surface waters and groundwater

  • We carry out sampling and comprehensive studies of surface and groundwater within the scope resulting from:
Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure of 25 June 2021 on the classification of ecological status, ecological potential and chemical status and the method of classifying the status of surface water bodies, as well as environmental quality standards for priority substances
  • Regulation of the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Inland Navigation of 11 October 2019 on the criteria and method of assessing the status of groundwater bodies

Wastewater

We analyse municipal and industrial wastewater to the extent required in:

  • Regulation of the Minister of the Environment of 18 November 2014 on conditions to be met when discharging sewage into waters or into the ground, and on substances particularly harmful to the aquatic environment (Journal of Laws 2014, item 1800)
  • Regulation of the Minister of the Environment of 23 March 2015 amending the Regulation on the permissible masses of substances that may be discharged in industrial wastewater (Journal of Laws 2015, item 521)

We provide laboratory and semi-technical testing services for the selection of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment technologies.

Sewage sludge

We offer testing of: municipal sewage sludge and sludge from on-site wastewater treatment plants for the physico-chemical indicators required by the Regulation of the Minister of the Environment of 6 February 2015 on municipal sewage sludge (Journal of Laws 2015, item 257).
We also perform biological, including microscopic analysis of activated sludge, conducted in accordance with our own test procedure.

Waste

Within the scope of waste testing, we offer the performance of:

  • morphological and granulometric tests of municipal waste in accordance with standards and current guidelines,
  • leaching tests and additional parameters for waste in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Economy of 16 July 2015 on admitting waste to landfills (Journal of Laws 2015, item 1277),
  • testing of organic fertilisers (composts) and plant aids produced from bio-waste in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of 18 June 2008 on the implementation of certain provisions of the Act on Fertilisers and Fertilisation (Journal of Laws 2008, No. 119, item 765),
  • monitoring of landfills, as required.

In addition, we offer AT4 determinations and measurements of unit biogas production in the methane fermentation process

Soils and land

Soil and land surveys are carried out in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of the Environment of 9 September 2002, on soil quality standards (Journal of Laws of 2002, No. 165, item 1359) and in the scope required for: application of municipal sewage sludge in agriculture, land reclamation for agricultural and non-agricultural purposes, adaptation of land to specific needs resulting from waste management plans, spatial development plans or decisions on conditions of development and land use for growing plants intended for compost production and growing plants not intended for consumption and fodder production.

Construction soils

We provide geotechnical services for:

  • laboratory tests: type of cohesive and non-cohesive soils, content of organic components, soil compactability, degree of plasticity, edometric compressibility modules, filtration coefficient, water flow velocity, identification of minerals and rocks,
  • field tests: small diameter hand-dug drillings, light soundings, hydrological-geological mapping, piezometers.

Research is conducted in accordance with Polish (PN) and European (EN ISO) standards. The results of the surveys can form the basis of scientific papers and technical documentation.

Based on many years of practical experience and the results of research work, we carry out consulting activities in the field of:

  • filtration processes
  • impact of anthropopressure on water levels
  • flood risk,
  • geo-engineering analysis of subsoils.
