The Soil Protection Laboratory provides a hardware and station base for the implementation of scientific and research works and conducting didactic classes in the field of testing basic soil properties, testing the properties of building soils, assessing the condition of soils and assessing soil detoxification techniques. The didactic profile of the laboratory is correlated with the subject of lectures, projects and laboratory exercises.
The laboratory is equipped with the following test benches:
- Stations for the preparation of soil samples and building soils for analysis
- Stands for determining the granulometric composition of soils and building soils using the sieve and areometric method
- pH and EC test stand in soil samples
- Weighing station
- Place for drying soil samples and building soils to air-dry state (010a)
