The Laboratory of Technical Thermodynamics provides a hardware and workstation base for conducting didactic classes in the field of technical thermodynamics in environmental engineering and energy. The didactic profile of the laboratory is correlated with the subject of lectures and laboratory exercises.
The laboratory is equipped with the following test benches for:
- Humidity measurement
- Measurement of the coefficient of linear expansion of solids
- Determination of specific heat of solids
- Investigation of thermodynamic phenomena in a compressor heat pump
- Air quality and flow testing
- Determination of the cp/cv ratio for air by the Clement-Desormes method
- Joule-Lenz experiments, conversion of electrical energy into internal energy of a thermodynamic medium
- Determination of the specific heat of a liquid by cooling
- Determination of melting heat and entropy change of ice melting
- Determination of the heat of evaporation of water at the boiling point of a liquid
- Thermal comfort tests in teaching roomsHeat exchanger tests
Measuring:
- GUNT WL210
- Calorimeters
- Vacuum pump
- Thermal comfort test kit
