SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITIES

• Analysis of technologies that reduce air pollutants and greenhouse gases in terms of efficiency, economic feasibility and maturity to identify cost-effective pathways to reduce negative environmental impacts of pollution. This includes the development of scenarios at multiple spatial and temporal scales that can be used in the development of environmental policies and strategies based on scientific studies. With regard to nitrogen emissions (such as ammonia or nitrous oxide emissions) and its environmental cycles, the scope specifically covers the agricultural sector.
