SMART CITY

Smart City - I-degree studies

First degree studies of general academic profile are conducted in the formula of stationary and non-stationary, last 7 semesters (3.5 years) and end with the defense of the diploma thesis and the diploma exam. Graduating from the first degree program, the graduate obtains the professional title of engineer.

Classes are conducted in the form of lectures, projects, laboratories, exercises, and a diploma seminar. Since the third semester of study, part of the project classes are held in the form of technical trips to engineering facilities (water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants, waste management plants).
As part of their studies, students undergo an internship of 160 hours (4th semester of study) in industrial plants, design offices or state and local government institutions.
During their studies, students can participate free of charge in industry-specific courses and trainings (e.g., installation, computer), orgaznized by the Institute of Environmental Engineering and cooperating companies.

A detailed study syllabus is available in the SylabUZ system.
